Recycling of plastic materials - Remiva, s.r.o. Recycling of plastic materials

REMIVA s.r.o. REMIVA s.r.o. was established in 1998 as an affiliated organization of Miroslav Vala - MARCUS. Both companies operated in parallel in the same field of industry until August 2007, when the company Miroslav Vala - Marcus transferred its activity to Remiva, s.r.o. Currently, REMIVA s.r.o. ranks among the largest processors of technological plastic waste from in the country.

In 2006 we were the first company in the Czech Republic to present recycling of expanded polystyrene (EPS) at the PLASTEX 06 trade fair in Brno. In 2006 we recycled and returned to production over 900,000 m3 (450 tonnes/year) of expanded polystyrene. A year later we received a certificate and registered trademark for this product: “Remistyren”. In 2007, we recycled more than 1.5 million cubic metres (700 tonnes/year) of expanded polystyrene.

In April 2011, a devastating fire in our company destroyed 99 % of all recycling technologies, including the laboratory and almost all raw materials.

Our new operations are still at the same address, in the place where our rear buildings were not affected by this event. The new plastic recycling production was re-launched in 2012 with a trial operation in July. Final approval of the whole operation took place at the end of September 2012. The current capacity of our production is 200 tonnes of granulates and 150 tonnes of chips per month. The total volume of delivered chips or granules is up to 500 tonnes per month. Due to the substantial reduction in the amount of technology, but also a much smaller area of warehouse and production space, we were forced to exclude certain types of materials from our production programme. However, we will be happy to provide you with a quotation.

We are very glad to have been able to provide in such a short time smaller but powerful and cutting-edge state of the art recycling lines of the new operation.

Therefore, you, our clients and potential customers, if you are concerned about what to do with your plastic waste, please contact us. We can give you advice or buy your waste.
